Collection and Use of Personal Information
Clients of Royal Parking Services interact with the company in ways that require Royal Parking to obtain personal information (i.e. address, phone number, email address). This information is used to contact individuals and to effectively run an efficient business that satisfies its clients. The amount and type of information that Royal Parking gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in transactions with Royal Parking by making a payment are asked to provide additional information, including the necessary personal and financial information required to process these transactions. This information is used solely to process particular transactions authorized by the individual. Financial information will not be used to carry out transactions not approved by the individual. The information provided for monthly parking agreements is used for the purpose of maintaining the individual’s monthly parking account. In each case, Royal Parking collects such information only to use appropriately to collect overdue parking violations or manage monthly parking accounts.
Registered Owner Information
If the violation notice amount owing remains unpaid within (30) days from the date of issue, the owner of the vehicle is deemed to have granted permission to Royal Parking Services Ltd. to obtain information about the vehicle’s registered owner for the purpose of collecting payment. Royal Parking pays a fee to the appropriate government agency for access to this information.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We may provide information about our clients to our employees and agents in order to administer an individual’s account and process service requests. Client information collected by Royal Parking Services can be used for the purpose of collecting payments for overdue parking violations but cannot be used for any other purpose whatsoever.
Correspondence
From time to time, Royal Parking Services may contact you by mail or electronic regarding our services. These communications are intended to inform you with important information about your account, or regarding general services provided by Royal Parking Services.
Safeguards
Royal Parking Services commits to providing sufficient safeguards and controls to ensure your personal information whether in electronic or hard copy for the duration of time that your personal information is in our possession to protect it from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, modification, copying or disposal . When we no longer require your personal information, we take due care to securely destroy it.
Accuracy
Royal Parking Services will endeavour to ensure the Personal Information we maintain about you is accurate and up to date to most efficiently provide services to you without interruption. We encourage you to notify us of inaccuracies or corrections.
Refund Policy
Please note that we do not offer refunds for parking notice payment.
